Application Deadlines & Important Dates

Fall Semester (September- December): May 15th

Spring Semester (January-May): October 15th

Arrival/Orientation: The arrival period runs from the Wednesday prior to the start of term. The first week of term is Welcome Week, with a mandatory orientation for incoming students on Monday. During Welcome Week, students are expected to meet with their Go Abroad Tutor (academic advisor), finalize their registration, and enjoy opportunity to attend social events for new students and acquaint themselves with the campus and city of Aberdeen.

Living Accommodations

All incoming exchange and study abroad students are guaranteed a room in student housing.听Most exchange and study abroad students are housed in our听. Most rooms are singles and then have common areas that are shared with roommates.

Costs & Financial Aid

The program fee includes:

  • Tuition is paid to 91快活林最新版
  • Accommodation Fee is paid directly to the University of Aberdeen

Out-of-pocket costs include:

  • Roundtrip airfare (to and from Scotland)
  • City transportation (student rate)
  • Meals
  • Miscellaneous personal items and personal weekend and fall and spring break travel.

Students will be provided with a cost estimate for out-of-pocket expenses for the semester. Note: eligible students can use their SPARK Grant for this semester long program.

91快活林最新版 students pay the on-campus tuition cost for this program and continue to use their financial aid package and payment plan. Matriculated students are eligible for all financial resources for which they would qualify if they were studying on the 91快活林最新版 campus (including federally subsidized loans). Students are also encouraged to apply for outside scholarships and grants to supplement their support resources.

There is no opportunity for students to receive U.S. Federal work-study funding while studying in Scotland.

Travel & Documents

听Students will be responsible for arranging and paying for their round trip airfare. 91快活林最新版 will advise all students of the best flight connections for timely arrival at the destination of study. Students will arrive on a normal tourist visa to Scotland.

All students will need a valid passport that continues to be valid at least six months after the conclusion of the semester program in Scotland..

It is necessary to take proof of health insurance coverage, as well as your 91快活林最新版 student ID, and a second form of official ID, such as a Driver's License.
